Description
American novelist Willa Cather wrote a book titled The Song of the Lark in 1915. The book tells the story of a talented artist who was born in a small town in Colorado, where she finds and focuses on her singing voice. Her narrative is set against the backdrop of the developing American West, where she was born in a village near a train line, the rapidly expanding city of Chicago around the beginning of the 20th century, and the US audience for singers with her caliber compared to Europe. Her character is so indulging that it makes the reader turn through pages. The Song Of The Lark leaves the reader with an overwhelming sea of emotions. Ãmazon
